New materials and technology changing interior design as we know it.

Recently I came across an article online that discussed the use of new materials in new modern furniture. How they can be more sustainable, beautiful and durable. Coming form a woodworking background I, (and many others in the same field) can sometimes struggle to look past wood as the main material for our furniture designs. Opening up our minds to the potential materials and methods available can allow us to break the barrier in our heads that halting us from making certain designs due to the form or construction of the design. The use of 3D printing, graphene and hydrogel are allowing us to create the beautiful, sometime crazy designs that we see in our minds but now in real life. The following article is taken from Style Magazine and personally I found it mind opening.
