No. 14 Chair

Throughout my journey to become a furniture designer i have come across the Thonet chair numerous times, i had the pleasure of seeing it in person from the trip to Copenhagen. For me this chair symbolizes creativity in its finest form, introduced in 1859 it was also know as the bistro chair and it became one of the best selling chairs ever. "creativity is nothing more but a mind set free" this quote by Torrie. T Asai, in my opinion i think it reflects well upon this iconic piece of design as Micheal Thonet expressed his creativity by producing a selection of high quality but affordable pieces of furniture and should how creative design can have such a big influence in society.
