Surface Table

This year is the 10th anniversary of the Surface Table, designed by Terrence Woodgate and John Barnard, for British company Established and Sons. It is a collaboration between a furniture designer (Woodgate) and a Formula One racing car designer (Barnard). To celebrate, the pair have expanded the 2008 version to measure a full 6 meters. The carbon fiber table is super-slim at just 2mm thickness. The slimness and expanse of the table seems improbable, but shows what can be achieved when collaboration from complimentary disciplines work.
