That Emotional Connection

After being briefed on our Furniture Design and Manufacture PDP connections project, I choose to look at the "Emotional Connection" behind furniture and how it allows two people to connect with one another. I came to the conclusion that a jewellery/memory box would be the best way to achieve this. We visited Stockholm furniture fair on a class trip in early February. After visiting one of the smaller exhibitions, I realised in that a product like this didn't have to be on a counter or table. Considering the best memories people have together are normally caught on photo, I questioned, why couldn't a memory cabinet be wall mounted? I’ve decided to name this product "Pieces", as it enraptures the memories that piece our lives together.
